Jill Di Donato is a skilled content strategist and multi-media brand consultant with a niche in commerce content that drives consumer engagement and revenue growth. She approaches SEO and data analytics from an editorial and UX perspective, as a formally trained writer and former academic with an MFA from Columbia University.

Select brand campaigns include Barbie, Mattel, Net-a-Porter, Connoisseurs, YOOX, H&M, Follain, HIGHS, MÚSED, and ReFa, where she’s the former director of content. She’s the former editorial director of an LA-based events discovery app, and commerce editorial operations director for the beauty and style group at Dotdash Meredith (InStyle, Shape, Brides, Byrdie). She specializes in leveraging data analytics to optimize search results and conversions, while providing editorial verve and narrative precision.

What sets her apart from SEO specialists is her acuity with data analytics, coupled with literary acumen. Jill’s first novel, Beautiful Garbage (Simon & Schuster) garnered praise from Vice, Galore, and Dazed, and was made into a short film. She was the assistant director of Women Poets at Barnard, working alongside Claudia Rankine. She’s won various writing prizes throughout her career; in 2020, she was the recipient of a PEN America grant for fiction writing.
